Weekend PBR Event Raises $9069.00
For Make A Wish Foundation
by: Bobby McDonald
Following Saturday night's PBR Event in the Hopkins County Civic Center, Jim McClain with TwoBulls Group, promoters of the event, and Jay Weddle and Donny Gowin, with Superior Genetics, one of the sponsors, presented Holly Leiferman, with Make a Wish Foundation, a check totaling $9,069.00, for the charity to grant wishes for children in the Northeast Texas region. The money was raised throughout the week, here in Sulphur Springs, for the purpose of helping children.
"We can't thank the Hopkins County Community, the PBR, and especially Pro-Trak Trailers, who donated a trailer to be auctioned on Saturday night, to help raise this money for the kids," expressed Leiferman. "It's through the generosity of individuals and corporate donors that we are able to provide our services to these most deserving children. In tough economic times, the needs still exist and these children's conditions don't improve, so it just means that everyone has to 'dig deeper' and continue to support these children. And, certainly the community and these sponsors did just that, this weekend!"

"It brings tears to your eyes when you see the children receiving their wishes," expressed Jay Weddle of Emory. "We're just glad that we could be a small part of helping this program continue here in East Texas and to help make life just a little bit easier for these children!"
PBR will return to Hopkins County in 2011, so make plans in your budget to help them with their supporting charities and make a difference in this world!
PBR was an exciting event, this past weekend, but their influence continues, as they give back to the community,
in the form of granting wishes to needy children, through Make a Wish Foundation.
