“Thank You” Reception for Lights of Life Campaign Sponsors

*$50,000 check will be presented to Memorial Hospital Board of Directors

Thursday,  March 25, 2010  - The Hopkins County Health Care Foundation and the 2010 Lights of Life Campaign committee will host a “thank you” reception for the sponsors of the 2010 Lights of Life Campaign at the Memorial Plaza Conference Room, 6:30 – 7:30p.m.  Craig and Jennifer Roberts, 2009-2010 campaign chairs, will recognize the $10,000 STAR Sponsors; Grocery Supply Co., Mickey & Barbara McKenzie and the HCMH Volunteer Auxiliary.  The $5000 SPARKLE and $2500 GLITTER Sponsors will also be recognized as well as all those who contributed to the success of this year’s event.  Over $150,000 was raised from the campaign this year and $50,000 of the funds raised will be presented to the Memorial Hospital Board of Directors for their use in purchasing a digital mammography machine.

              It will be announced that Tom and Pam Sellers have agreed to serve as campaign chairs for 2010-2011.  The gala is scheduled for the 3rd Saturday in January; January 15, 2011 at the Civic Center.  “We’re excited to work as a couple to not only serve our community, but to help improve healthcare in Hopkins County”, states Sellers.
