Local Woman Killed in Tragic Automobile
Accident in Kansas

Sulphur Springs residents, Glen and Mary Hall, were enroute with family members to a funeral in Kansas,  on Monday, December 7th, when they were involved in an automobile accident, that took the life of Mrs. Mary Hall. The family was approximately 4 miles from their destination, when something went wrong with the automobile, causing it to overturn, and reports are that Mrs. Hall was ejected from the vehicle. Mrs. Hall was pronounced dead a the scene, and Mr. Hall was flown to a Wichita, Kansas, hospital, where he remains. A daughter and grandson, who were also in the vehicle, were treated and released from the hospital.

Due to the nature of the tragic accident, no funeral arrangements have been made, and local family members are enroute to Kansas.

Mr. & Mrs. Hall were local business owners in Sulphur Springs for a number of years and Mrs. Hall was actively involved in the Hopkins County Genealogical Society, where she served as the local treasurer.
