at Second Peformance of "OZ"
Wednesday Night

Anyone that attended either performance of "Oz The Musical" at the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center would agree that it is one of the most spectacular events ever hosted in Sulphur Springs. Outstanding performances by the cast in both music and dance, as well as awesome staging and professionalism throughout the production, were just givens, but the local little "munchkins" played a great part in both night's perfomances, as well. "How often do you get to go and enjoy a wonderful musical and get to see your own little granddaughter perform on the same stage, in the same venue," expressed one doting grandmother. "Naturally, I was a fan of the entire production, but think my little granddaughter was the 'star of the show' on Wednesday night! You're going to have a hard time convincing me otherwise!"

"We can't say enough about the experience for our children," added another grandmother. "Who knows, this may be the very 'spark' that encourages them to pursue theater, or at the very least builds the self-confidence for a foundation in life! Those working with our children were wonderful and each of the children had a great time!"

"That's the beauty of this musical," added one of the parents. "It not only is so professionally done, but in each city it travels to, it will be offering youth the opportunity to being introduced to the stage and interact with the professional members of the cast! What a great opportunity for our children!"

"It just wish we could have had more participation from the viewing public," lamented another Wednesday night patron. "I know it was a church night, but the Civic Center should have been packed for such a quality performance and such a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity. Towns the size of Sulphur Springs just don't have opportunities like this very often! We were definitely fortunate to have Oz The Musical come to our town!"
