If you weren't in Emory on Saturday night, you certainly missed some awesome volleyball action, as the Shelley Jones' Cumby Lady Trojans, won a decisive match with Big Sandy, in the first round of play-off action. The Lady Trojans defeated Big Sandy in three sets to claim victory and demonstrated the finesse, character, and teamwork that has brought them through the regular season with a perfect record!
It was awesome control of the ball and setting up the crucial plays that landed the Lady Trojans advancing to Grand Saline, on Tuesday night, at 7:00 p.m. "I've seen them all season," commented one devoted fan. "But, it just seems that they get better and better, as the season progresses. They work together, see the court, and watch for those opportunities to land that 'kill' at just the right time. They're awesome!"
