North Hopkins Lady Panthers Take Early Lead
And Deliver Homecoming Victory, Over Lady Owls

Spirits were high in North Hopkins, on Friday night, as they were celebrating Homecoming and hosted the Yantis Lady Owls in basketball action. The Lady Panthers managed an early lead, that found them with a 13-1 advantage at the end of the first period. During the second period, the Lady Owls outscored the Lady Panters 7-5, but the Lady Panther's earlier performance allowed them to take an 18-8 advantage to the dressing room at halftime.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Lady Owls came back in the third period, and scored 8 points to their total, while the Lady Panthers, only scored three points. The Lady Panthers "hung on" to a 21-16 lead at the end of the third period. Then, during the fourth quarter the Lady Panthers added 15 points to their total and held the Lady Owls to only 8 points, claiming a Homecoming victory with a score of 36-24.
