Jordan Drawn as Winner of
Kiwanis Club Truck

"I've got a drawer full of tickets that I've bought for anything from a Wal-mart gift card, to a 30-30 rifle, and a side of beef, but I've never won anything like this before!" exclaimed Ray Glenn Jordan. "Imagine my surprise when I received a call on Saturday afternoon, at 2:00, that I'd been drawn as the winner of the Golden K Kiwanis Club Truck!"

Jordan had bought only one ticket, as he'd been on the downtown square, during the month long fundraising effort, and purchased one while attending to business. "I bought it strictly with the intention of helping out the Golden K Kiwanis Club, with never a thought that I'd be drawn the winner!" continued Jordan. "But, it sure makes a nice Christmas present, when you get surprised with something like this!"

 

 

Jordan allowed that he and his wife, Robbin, went down on Saturday afternoon and paid the taxes and drove the vehicle home. "And, as most people will understand, Robbin is already claiming it as her truck!" quipped Ray Glenn! "It didn't take long for me to lose ownership! But, at least it's all in the family!"

The Golden K Kiwanis Club sold some 1090 tickets on the truck and Jordan's was drawn as the lucky winner for this year's fundraising effort!
