The City of Sulphur Springs is working to clear debris resulting from last night’s severe storm. City Manager Marc Maxwell told us, “We’ve got street crews out cleaning up downed tree limbs and trees and all of the streets. It should be an all-day process. What we are doing is cutting the limbs or tree trunks at the curb. We are hauling off everything that is in the street. Everything that is behind the curb is the homeowner’s responsibility. We are opening the site of our spring clean up for the next 3 days. It is 1/4 Mile East of Flowserve. City residents can bring out all of their debris from the storm and leave it at the site. We will have some help to offload it but not much.”
