Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Talco Woman for Possession of 35 Grams of Heroin

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25 year old Kalen Reigh Halbert of Talco on Wednesday morning after officers discovered heroine at a county residence.
Halbert was identified at a residence where deputies were looking for stolen property and she was found to have warrants from Midland County and Titus County for Theft of Property. She was taken into custody and a search of her bedroom recovered approximately 35 grams of field tested heroin and other paraphernalia.
The evidence was photographed, bagged, and transported to Hopkins County Jail. Halbert was booked into Hopkins County Jail and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance more than 4 Grams but less than 200 Grams. Bond has not been set.
