NETLA Announces Winners of Larry Spradlin and Bobby McDonald Scholarships at 2019 Sale of Champions

North East Texas Livestock Association announced the winners of the Larry Spadlin Scholarship and Bobby McDonald Scholarship at today’s 2019 Sale of Champions. Seven scholarships totaling $8,000 were awarded. The five winners of the Larry Spradlin Scholarship were Harley McLarry($2,000), Blaine Flemens($1,500), Bethany Taylor($1,500), Breanna Sells($1,000), and Faith Wheeler($1,000). The two winners of the Bobby McDonald Scholarship were Amy Sprague and Wyatt Wharton, $500 each.

NETLA auctioned off a swine and steer at the conclusion of today’s sale for the NETLA scholarship fund. The scholarship swine donated by the Spradlin family was bought by a large group of local businesses for $5,000. The scholarship steer was also bought by the group for $6,000.
