John 1:4
In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
It doesn’t matter what age, stage, or social class of life someone is in they all have the same basic need. They need the life that is only found in Christ. Along the same line, the way to reach people from any age, stage, or social class is the same as well…light. Everyone who is walking in darkness is seeking the light. This is where you come in. If you will simply be about shining His light by the life that you live in Him you will draw people who need the life that you have. So many times people will give the excuse that they are called to a certain class of people based upon their age, stage of life, or social class when asked about reaching others for the Lord. While it’s true that past life experiences help you relate to others, it doesn’t limit you to them. Jesus life and ministry reached people in every area and stage of life simply because He let the life in Him shine brightly for all around Him to see. He didn’t set Himself up to only reach carpenters and those born in a manger. He knew what He offered was essential to any and every person that He would meet in the course of a day. Don’t sell your ministry and outreach short. Be open and willing to speak life and light into all who God may place in your path. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
