2 Corinthians 3

18 We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus.  We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Have you ever stood in front of a broken or dirty mirror?  If so, you understand that while you can still see yourself in it, what you see isn’t the most accurate portrayal.  When you were born again, you became a mirror that reflects the image of Christ.  At first, you, like everyone else, were in need of some cleaning and repair because life had left you broken and dirty.  But, as you began living a life after Him your portrayal of Him became more and more accurate.  The good things that Jesus brought into your life such as grace, peace, and joy took the place of all the hurt, shame, and sin.  You began to look more and more like the One who saved you.  Christianity really is that easy.  You don’t have to try and produce your own light or glory, you simply become a reflection of His light and glory.  If there’s something on your mirror that is causing you to give off and inaccurate reflection of Him, all you have to does wipe it off.  The world is becoming darker as time goes on.  This is not a surprise, Jesus said it would happen.  This means that there has never been a more crucial time for you to maintain a pure reflection of who He is to world.  How clean is your mirror? – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
