President of the Lamar County Genealogical Society Presenting “Organizing Your Research” at Hopkins County Genealogical Society Meeting on November 15th

Betsy Mills has been part of the TXGenWeb Project and state coordinator for ARGenWeb since 1996. She is currently president of the Lamar County Genealogical Society, treasurer for the Texas State Genealogical Society, and a member of the Lamar County Historical Commission, heading up the “Cemeteries Committee”. She maintains the Lamar County Death and Cemetery Records Online Database that currently contains over 130,000 records.
Betsy will share ideas about color coding your research and you will learn some new things to try to help get rid of some of those stacks of paper.
