The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches have ranked the Sulphur Springs #15 in Class 5A in the 2018-2019 TABC Boys Pre-Season Rankings. The Wildcats are expected to be a strong team this season despite several players transferring. The Wildcats will start the basketball season at the Cowtown Showdown at North Crowley on November 10th and will play their first home game on November 13th versus Rockwall Heath.
