The John Everett Phinney book ‘Known Only to God’ is now available for purchase at Hopkins County Genealogical Society. It includes pictures, documents, and biography on each sibling and their parents along with a family tree, and a link to their find a grave pages. The cost is $20.
Phinney died in Hopkins County in 1954 and for years was “Known Only to God”. Local resident of the Hopkins County Genealogical Society Rhonda Bechhold worked for the past two years to get Phinney the military honors he deserved.
