Special Crimes Unit Investigation Results in Arrest of Sulphur Springs Woman for Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute

Special Crimes Unit began an investigation into the possession and sale of methamphetamine by 24 year old Monica Renee Millan of Sulphur Springs. During the investigation SCU observed her at a location on South League Street. SCU confirmed that she had existing outstanding warrants and made contact with Millan. She made officers advised officers that she possessed 5.47 grams of methamphetamine. She was placed under arrest and booked into Hopkins County Jail for Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute along with the existing warrants for violation of probation and a traffic violation.
