Troy Smith, age 95, of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in Sulphur Springs. Troy was born October 10, 1922 to Clyde Smith and Rose Karney Smith in Tira, TX. Troy was a veteran having served his country honorably in the US Army during World War II. He was self-employed having worked in the automobile industry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Georgia Lawrence Smith, one son,Jimmy Smith and wife Helen of Greenville; one grandchild, Crissty Williams of Greenville; three Great-Grandchildren, Grandchildren, Chandler Mason and husband Cody of Forney, TX , TX, Kyleigh Williams on Tom Bean, TX and Bryndal Williams of Greenville, TX; one Great-Great Grandchild, Cooper Mason of Forney and one sister Geneva Obbards of Visalia, CA.
Troy was preceded in death by hisparents,Clyde and Rose Smith.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
