Hopkins County Commissioners Court Approves Sale Agreement for Annex Buildings(110 & 118 Main St.)

The Hopkins County Commissioners Court approved an agreement for the sale of the district attorney’s office and district clerks office yesterday. The total sale of the properties is for $445,000.

The property at 110 Main St. will be sold to the Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce for $205,000. The property at 118 Main St. will be sold to Kris and Lisa Childress for $240,000. The Childress’ plan to open a second Miss Behavin boutique at the Main St. property.

The agreements allow for the county to keep using the property until the county has finished construction on a new building for the district attorney and district clerk’s offices. The closing date for the sale is November 30th.
