Here’s a look at this year’s Dairy Festival contestants! Each contestant is pictures with 2017 Dairy Festival Queen Jaci Reed.

 

Meet Dairy Festival contestant Alexis Lopez from Sulphur Springs High School! Her hobbies and special interests include cheerleading, gymnastics and more recently violin. She is currently student body president and plans on becoming an anesthesiologist.

 

Meet Dairy Festival contestant Cameron Horton from Sulphur Springs High School! She enjoys working with animals, especially her horses. She loves to sing and play guitar, as well as paint, cook, write, and volunteer at the animal shelter. She wants to attend Texas A&M University and earn a degree in veterinary medicine.

 

 

Meet Dairy Festival contestant Harley McLarry from Cumby High School! She is a varsity athlete in volleyball, basketball, softball, and track. She plans to become a Obstetric Sonographer or Prenatal Ultrasound Technician.

 

 

Meet Dairy Festival contestant Caitlyn Williams from Sulphur Springs High School! She enjoys volunteering in the community with Be the Service, Field of Friends, Shelter Tree Ranch, Sulphur Springs Work Camp, Bright Star Baseball, and more. She wants to pursue a career in education and become and elementary school teacher in Sulphur Springs.


 

 

Meet Dairy Festival contestant Cassidy Winborn from Sulphur Springs High School! Cassidy has been trained in all forms of dance since age 2 including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and pointe. She plans to pursue a career in education and become a kindergarten teacher.

 

 

Meet Dairy Festival contestant Lucia Yanez from Sulphur Springs High School! She’ll be playing French Horn during the talent show. She’s a member of St. James Youth Group, SSHS National Honor Society, and a recognized thespian of International Thespian Society.

 

 

Meet Dairy Festival contestant Kaitlyn Ferril from Sulphur Springs High School! She will be performing Mozart’s Andante in C on the flute during the talent show. She is a member of track, band, cross country, National Honor Society and is in the top ten percent of her class.

 

 

Meet Dairy Festival contestant Abby Peckham from Sulphur Springs High School! She will be sing “Tomorrow” from Annie in the talent show. She plans to go to an amazing nursing school or to attend Juliard as a singer.
