Como-Pickton FFA Welding Team Builds Firepit at Dubiski Career High School “Parking Lot Build-off”

The CP FFA Welding Team built a 36″ firepit yesterday at the Dubiski Career High School “Parking Lot Build-off”. They had eight hours to complete the project. The only thing that was pre-fabricated was the grill grate insert. Every other part had to be measured, marked, cut and prepped before welding. Team members were (l-r) Landon Lambrich, Bruno Estada, Gabriel Garcia, and Daniel Galvan. 12 teams competed in the contest, 9 finished including the CP FFA Team. Even though we place, we built a good pit and learned a lot about team work and time management. The CP FFA is looking forward to these guys representing them in future contests.
