Funeral services for Bobby Lynn Crook, age 83, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Shannon Gammill officiating. Interment will follow at South Liberty Cemetery with Lynn Crook, Bobby Crook, Russell Melton, Roger Melton, Mikey Melton and Ray Ragan serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., prior to service time at West Oaks Funeral Home. Bobby passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. Bobby was born on November 14, 1934 in Red River County, TX, the son of Freeman Crook and Edith Mitchell Crook. He married Elizabeth Lucille Fisher on April 19, 1954 in McKinney, TX. She preceded him in death. Bobby started farming after he retired from Overhead Door. Bobby is survived by his children, Lynn Crook and Lynette Melton,sisters and brother, Patsy Thomas, Sheryl Woods, Derly Gilliland, Lameda White and Jimmy Crook, Sr., grandchildren, Bobby Crook and wife Marianne, Russell Melton and wife Kortney, Roger Melton and Mikey Melton and wife Meghan, great-grandchildren, Hagen, Canon, Wyley, Thomas, Korbin, Asa and Claire. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Billy Crook and Roger Crook, sister, Mary Joe Robinson, grandson, Thomas Lloyd Crook and great-grandson, Bryson Kelly Melton.
