Mary Lynne Jolley (Granny), 94, of Sulphur Springs went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 7, 2018. She was born on September 9, 1923 in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of Elvis and Mary Bailey Hurley. She married Byron Dickerson on November 24, 1953 in Sulphur Springs, he preceded her in death on September 23, 1977. She later married Troy Jolley on March 6, 1981, he preceded her in death in 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Kathleen Champagne and Nancy Hughes.

Mary Lynne was the owner of Mary Lynne’s Collegiate Shoppe which was not only known for fashionable clothing but a gathering place for her dear friends and customers.  She was a past member of the Lena Day Garden Club, Dial Study Club, Christian Women’s Fellowship, Community Bible Study, and numerous bridge clubs. Mary Lynne was a 70-year member of First Christian Church serving in many areas of ministry.  She was presently a member of First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by daughters, Denise Booher and husband Reece of Sulphur Springs, Deanne Ragan and husband Truman of Sulphur Springs. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Brandon Booher and wife Laney, Tanner Ragan and wife Holly, Tye Boatman and husband Josh, Blaine Booher and wife Nicole and Bailey Booher. Granny loved her great-grandchildren Reese Ragan, Ramsey Ragan, Ryan Ragan, Bayler Boatman, Brett Boatman, Bryce Booher, Bennett Booher, Cora Booher and Blake Booher who brought much joy to her. She is also survived by Troy’s children, Troy Jolley, Jr. and wife Janett, Pattie Wichern and husband Frank, Cindy Ray and husband Norman, and their families. A special thank you to her loving long time caregiver, Judy Massey and the Carriage House Manor caregivers and staff along with Legacy Hospice.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joel Tiemeyer officiating. Interment will follow at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home. www.westoaksfuneralhome.com.
