Funeral services for Leista Pringle, age 68, of Leander, TX,  have  been scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Morning Chapel Church with Pastor Rudy Williams officiating. Corey Spigner, Jay Yarbrough, Peyton Tilley, Curtis Bush and Will Jenkins will be serving as pallbearers.  Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Tapp Funeral Home. Interment will be at the East Caney Cemetery.

Leista Pringle was born in Sulphur Springs on February 25, 1949, the daughter of Earnest Wade and Essie Lee Ford Wade. She attended Douglas School in Sulphur Springs.  She married Samuel Pringle, he preceded her in death in 2013.  Mrs. Pringle joined Morning Chapel Baptist Church at an early age and was affiliated with the Friendly Will Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a Medication Aide at Hopkins County Nursing Home until her health failed.

Leista left this earthly home on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at her residence in Austin, Texas.

Her life will forever be cherished by her daughter, Camille Wade Spivey of Austin, her son, Marcus Wade of Houston, Texas, a brother, Larry Wade, Sr. and wife, Tonya of Sulphur Springs, two sisters, Bonnie Wade and Grace Jo Hawkins and husband, O.L. , both of Sulphur Springs, two sister-in-laws, Bettye Wade and Freddie Wade and grandchildren, Allisiana, Peyton, Justin, Jordan and M.J..  She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and infant sister, two brothers, Earnest Wade, Jr. and A.B. Wade, Sr.

 

Lunch will be served at the church after the graveside services.
