46 SSHS Students Inducted into National Honor Society

SSHS inducted 46 new members into the Gladys Alexander Chapter of the National Honor Society last night. Students were chosen based on scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Members of National Honor Society participate in several activities throughout the year. They promote literacy by collecting and distributing Little Golden Books for the hospital maternity ward as well as reading to elementary and ECLC students. Members also help with the Veterans’ Day program in November and graduation in June.
