Memorial Service for Winford “PeeWee” Tippett, age 84, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Rev. Justin Wilson officiating.  Mr. Tippettpassed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital, Sulphur Springs.

Winford Sullivan “PeeWee” Tippett was born on March 15, 1933, in Scurry Rosser, Texas, the son of Cleo and Elenor (Braizer) Tippett.  “PeeWee” retired from Tyler Pipe where he worked in Central Maintenance.  He served in the Army during the Korean War as a Medic, and was a Golden Glove Feather Weight Boxer in his youth and a member of the VFW.   He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Tippettand granddaughter, Trinity Tippettof Sulphur Springs, TX
