Graveside service for Rose Virginia Pierce, age 85, of McKinney, TX will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at North Hopkins Cemetery with Rev. Justin Wilson officiating.   Ms. Pierce passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Briarcliff Health Center, Greenville, TX.

Rose Virginia Pierce was born on May 15, 1932 in Dike, TX to J.V. Pierce and Vera Simmons.  Rose worked as an electronic assembler at E Systems for 25 years.  She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her sons, Ronney Talley (Toni) of Greenville, TX, David Talley (Cathea) of Commerce, TX, Robert Talley of McKinney; grandchildren, Shawna Scott, Shannie Lowther (Chad), Cody Talley (Kady), Presley Talley, Angie Taylor, Mindy McCaslin (Chris), Jim Taylor (Katie), James Talley, Courtney Talley, Andrea Umlauf (Kurt), Jennifer Fults (Josh); 15 great grandchildren.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Mary Helen Stubbs; brother, J.R. Pierce.

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
