Funeral service for William Dale “Toby or PePa” Mills, age 79,of Sulphur Bluffwill be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sulphur Bluff Cemetery with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating.Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Mills, passed awaySaturday, September 9, 2017, in Duncanville, TX.
William Dale Mills, Sr. was born on April 26, 1938 in Charleston, Texas, the son of Olen Eugene and Freddie Alene (Lile) Mills. Dale owned and operated Can-Do AC/Heating company for over 20 years. He retired from Texas A&M University Commerce. Dale was a Master Mason for over 50 years and a member of the Sulphur Bluff Lodge.
He is survived by his former wife, Elizabeth Mills; son, William Dale Mills Jr. and wife, Laurie; daughter, Kimberly Mills Owens and husband Todd; grandchildren, Trey Mills, Julianne Guibert, Meagan Hartman and Tori Owens; great grandchildren, Mason Mills, LeytonGuibert and Owen Hartman; brother, Lynn Mills and wife, Judy and brother-in-law, Gaylon Birdwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Patsy Birdwell.
Memorials can be made to Sulphur Bluff Cemetery Association.
