Boy Scouts Troop 66 began construction of a new playground at Como ball field on Saturday. When finished the playground will include a swing set, teeter-totter, merry-go-round, slide, bench and the ground will be covered with playground classified mulch. Carson Kylie, William Krinning, Dakota Peugh, Jacob Peugh, Evan Andrew, and David Forward are all contributing to the project to earn their Eagle Scout badge. Outgoing Mayor Ron Walker was on-site lending a hand. Incoming Mayor Darla Henry told me, “This playground will give our kids a place to play and have a good time. We certainly appreciate the boy scouts leading this project.”
