Spring fever is here, and as Ag. Teacher Christin Daugherty would say, the North Hopkins FFA members have been “Buzzing like worker bees.” The students have been warming up to springin the NH Ag. Shop bydedicating many hours creating projects for the up coming stew and auction. All students and teachers of the NHFFA have been working very hard over the last few months in preparation for this annual event.

The stew and auction will be held in the North Hopkins cafeteria on April 27th. There will be a complimentary stew dinner followed by a live auction. On the main agenda for the auction, there will be numerous items hand made by the students of the NHFFA, such as an outdoor dinner bar, hay rings, and picnic benches. The auction will also feature items such as tool sets, gift certificates to local businesses in the Hopkins County area and many other generous donations made by supporting community partners.

The North Hopkins FFA stew and auction is one of the biggest fundraising events for the FFA chapter. All funds accumulated from this event will help the chapter budget expenses for all activities the chapter will be participating in the upcoming year.  After a long year of hard workand dedication to make the annual stew and auction successful, the students and teachers of the North Hopkins FFA chapter hope to welcome a large crowd of supporters, to join them for a warm bowl of Hopkins county stew and a live auction that displays all the hard work the students have put forth this past year.
