Police Department and Sheriffs’s Department Recover Several Credit Card Skimming Devices from Local Gas Pumps

From SSPD and Hopkins County Sheriffs Office, “The Police Department and Sheriffs’s department have recovered several credit card skimming devices from gas pumps around the area. We are continuing to check most of the gas pumps throughout the city and county for these devices. The local banking institutions have been notified and we ask the public to keep a close eye on their account for the next several weeks. Until all pumps can be checked we ask that you go inside the store to pay when purchasing gas.”
