The AlterG Anti-Gravity treadmill donated by the Lights of Life campaign was delivered to Christus-Sulphur Springs last week. It’s pretty neat! It allows patients to reduce the amount of gravity placed on their lower extremities. This will allow some patients to progress in their physical therapy faster and put less weight on their affected limbs during the course of therapy. The specialist for the treadmill told me that the treadmills are in every NFL training facility and most professional sports facilities. Below is a description from the company’s website.
