Plain & Fancy Sandwich Shoppe will be celebrating their 20th anniversary on Friday. As a thank you to all of their amazing customers over the last 20 years they are offering a FREE dessert buffett Friday, March 3rd starting at 7pm. They will have a wide variety of desserts including sugar-free and gluten-free! Plain & Fancy would love to see you Friday and they look forward to another 20 years together!

Sandi Wallace has always loved cooking & raising four children she sometimes had to be creative with the meals. In the spring of 1997, a friend approached her about buying Plain & Fancy Sandwich Shoppe. With three of her children in college & and her youngest daughter in the seventh grade, Sandi found she had a little more free time and decided to go for it. She began to take Plain & Fancy to a new level of success. The response from the customers was overwhelming.

After college, one of Sandi’s daughters, Heather came back to Sulphur Springs to help her mom in the day to day business. This allowed Sandi to focus on her caterings and making that aspect of Plain & Fancy as successful as the Shoppe.

Now, as partners, Sandi and Heather have found the secret to a thriving
successful business. The mother & daughter team have accomplished so much together but, to talk to them, each gives all the credit to the other. As you might expect they have had several requests to franchise, but both women truly love the hometown atmosphere. They strive to be able to personally tailor their menu to accommodate any customer’s request.

Plain & Fancy is known for having a clean up-beat atmosphere and putting their special touch in every item on their menu.
The only thing missing from the menu is food that’s fried and greasy – everything at Plain & Fancy is made exactly the way you like it.
