Geraldine Maddux Obituary
Funeral Service for Geraldine Maddux, age 81, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Murray-Orwosky Chapel with Jeff Harris officiating. Interment will follow at New Pickton Cemetery with Roger Elliot, Joe Anderson, Roger Wright, Brad Bradford, Bobby Bain and Tiger Massey serving as pallbearers and Rebecca Maddux, Abby Maddux, Charles Maddux and William Maddux serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mrs. Maddux passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at her residence. She was born on November 11, 1935 in Pickton, TX, the daughter of Henry Eugene and Maurine (Dodson) Mays. She married Charles Maddux on September 14, 1957 in Pickton. Geraldine was a member of Shannon Oaks Church and retired from Guaranty Bond Bank.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen Maddux and wife Sarah, Craig Maddux and wife Laurie; grandchildren, Rebecca Maddux, Charles Maddux, Abby Maddux and William Maddux.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Harold Mays and sister Mary Mays.
