Graduate Killed in Early Morning Wreck

Tragedy has already struck the Class of 2010 at Sulphur Springs High School, when an early Friday morning accident, killed a class member, 17 year old Jordan Scott Hurley, of the Martin Springs Community.

The call was received from eye-witnesses at the scene on Hwy-11 East, approximately one-mile east of the Como-Pickton School, where at 12:18 a.m., the vehicle Hurley was driving, left the roadway and struck a tree. Hurley was reportedly following three friends, who were in another vehicle, but he was the lone occupant of his vehicle, and perished in the accident.
