H.E.A.T. 4-H Club to Host
Horse Show on Saturday

The Hopkins County Equestrian Action Team will host The H.E.A.T. Horse 4-H Club’s

Pony Project Show at The Hopkins County Civic Center – Equine Pavilion, Saturday, September 18, 2010 Show Starts @ 8:00 A.M.4-H members please wear Green 4-H t-shirts. Pre Register by September 15, 2010 by calling 903-717-0286 Email mahayward@vzw.blackberry.net. Entry Fees are $3.00 per class or $12.00 for all classes

Office Open at 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. Saturday, September 18th Late Entries ADD $10.00

OPEN to ANY pony under 13 hands or 52” at the withers

Pony Halter Class: Mares, Gelding and Stallions

Showmanship Class: Juniors 8 & Under Intermediate 9 – 13 Senior 14 – 18

Obstacle Course (leading them thru a trail course) Juniors 8 & Under Intermediate 9-13

Senior 14 – 18 Costume Contest Junior 8 & Under Intermediate 9-13 Senior 14 – 18

 

 

 

The Junior Rodeo sign ups open at 8 a.m. and starts at 9 a.m. also at the
Equine Pavilion.  Age groups are <4, 5-8, 9-13, 14-18, Open
There will be an arena for the 8 and under that do not have horses to
participate in separately. There will have an open jackpot for barrels and poles for $10.00 in which$5.00 goes to the club and $5.00 into the jackpot. The HEAT club will also have an open team roping 1 head fastest time wins.  Enter as many times as you want.  $10.00 per person each entry. Also $5.00 goes to club and $5.00 into the jackpot.
