Offer Quality Halftime Programs

Especially when you have programs like Sulphur Springs High School offers, with large numbers of students in both the Wildcat Band and the Blue Blazes Drill Team, and those programs have striven for excellence for years, it's easy to take them for granted and not recognize the hours of hard work and dedication that go into those programs. Most of us, in Sulphur Springs, have just always expected the type programs that we see each Friday night on the football field at halftime. But, when you travel to other schools you truly see how very fortunate that we are to have the tradition of quality halftime performances. Hours of hard work and dedication are given by the students to perfect the routines, learn the music and the dance steps, and to offer an outstanding program week after week, throughout the football season.

This is saluting those students who devote so much of their time to band and drill team and offering a "hats off" to them for the outstanding performances they provide, each and every week.
