"Gloria" at First Baptist Church

Gloria, this year's First Baptist Church Musical, was presented on both Saturday and Sunday nights at First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, in 7:00 p.m. services. Featuring Eddie Northcutt, as the narrator, the narration was written by Melba Anderson, and brought the story of Jesus to life, via scripture..

 

 

Song selections by the First Baptist Church Choir were directed by Kevin Wooley.

The Concert began with a The Promise and moved to the rendition of You Oughta Know, featuring soloist Brittney Wooley.

 

 

Robin Boshears, as vocalist, was featured in the next number, O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, and Bradley Edge was the featured vocalist in the presentation of Made.

 

 

 

Darren Gray was featured in The Little Drummer Boy and Campbell Cody was the Drummer Boy.

 

 

 

A rendition of Have You Heard About the Baby, was the next selection. Then, Annette Ham and Kerry Potts were featured vocalists in Away in a Manger.

No Eye Had Seen was the next featured selection and then a rendition of Love Came Gently, featuring soloist Kate Cody.

 

 

 

 

 

The program ended with Lisa Preuss, featured vocalist in the presentation of Go Tell It on the Mountain.

 

 

Members of the orchestra included: Eydie Ginn, Barbara Taylor, Richard Shanks, Steve Blezinger, Kaci Mohon, Alex Ford, Jeff Smith, Kelley Fletcher, Russ Narramore, Dave Kirkpatrick, Gary Kesting, and Nate Smith.
