January Brings Ft. Worth Stock
Show and Rodeo
by: Bobby McDonald

You can always count on a bad winter storm and freezing temperatures, at least part of the time, for the annual Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. This year's event begins with the annual Stock Show Parade, in Downtown Ft. Worth, on Saturday, January 16th, at 11:00 a.m. It's the opportunity for Hopkins County residents to "pull on" a pair of boots, enjoy the sites at the Stock Show and take a tour of the historic Ft. Worth Stockyards, where a number of eating venues, shopping, and Billy Bob's Texas offers a fun day of western entertainment. This year's Stock Show runs through February 7th.
Go to www.ftworthstockshow.com and get a daily schedule of the many, many events that are offered.
