Sulphur Springs FFA Member
to Compete in District Talent Contest
by: Bobby McDonald
It's nothing really out of the ordinary for Sulphur Springs FFA member and senior student, Caleb Frazier, as he prepares to compete in Thursday night's Paris District FFA Talent Contest, to be held in Mt. Vernon. "I've been working on several songs," allowed Frazier. "But, I really haven't decided what I'm going to use on Thursday night. It will just depend on the 'mood' of the crowd and what I think will be appealing to the audience, once I get to the contest."
Earlier this week, Frazier performed two songs, "Paint Me of Birmingham" and "Grundy County Auction" for the local FFA meeting in preparation for advancing to the District County.

Frazier, who is no stranger performing on stage, regularly performs with the local Psalm 100 gospel group and is a regular singer at church and other community functions. "I enjoy performing and hope that I can use my talent to advance to the State FFA Convention, next summer," allowed Frazier. "It's just a goal I'd like to reach during my senior year and something that will be fun!"
The Paris District FFA Convention will be Thursday night, in Mt. Vernon, where all Hopkins County FFA chapters will join others across Northeast Texas, where they will vote on district officers, talent groups, and sweethearts to represent them at the area convention, held each year in February.
Best of Luck to Caleb Frazier,
on his Talent Contest bid!!!!
