Night at the Fall Festival

Despite some rain showers and continued damp weather, activities at the 40th Annual Hopkins County Fall Festival got underway on Thursday night. The carnival opened in the High School Parking Lot, where some dry ground was to be had, and the Cover Girls were competing on the inside of the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center. Businesses and organizations who secured booths in the Exhibit Hall were setting-up their wares and those who had outside booths were attempting to get them ready for Friday's expected crowd.

A number of Hopkins County citizens ignored the weather and came to enjoy the festival anyway! Enjoy the following scenes from Thursday night's activities:
