It was a noon meeting for members of the Hopkins County Democratic Party, on Friday, as they met to deliver signs, and discuss the upcoming November 2nd election. "We've got to get the word out, and remind people that the mess this country is in, didn't happen in the past two years," advised Judy Gillem, as she spoke to fellow Democrats. "The Democratic majority inherited this mess, two years ago. It didn't happen over night, and it can't be fixed over night. We can't go back to the mess that started it all, when they were in power, before the last election!"

Democratic party members were encouraged to contact their friends and encourage them to get out and vote. "We're hearing that many people are taking advantage of early voting here in Hopkins County and we need to encourage our friends and neighbors to get out and vote!" cautioned Gillem.

Members left Headquarters on Gilmer Street with signs and other materials and stated that anyone wanting signs for their yards, that they are available at the headquarters location.

"We must support our candidates and get the vote out!" commented other members of the party, as they exited Friday's meeting.
