Dairy Foods Contest Results Announced
A total of 23 dishes were entered in the 2010 Dairy Foods Contest, held in conjunction with the Hopkins County Dairy Festival. Contest organizer and Board member, Johanna Hicks, reported that the June 19th contest drew entries from all age levels.
Results are listed below:
Children's Desserts: Tiffany McManus, Chocolate Cookie Cheesecake - 1st place, Children's Division Best of Show Elida Miller, Chocolate Mint Cheesecake Bars - 2nd place Aleigh Bessonett, Tang Pie - 3rd place Brooklynn burnside, Strawberry Supreme Cheesecake - 4th place
Children's Appetizers: Zia Miller, Zia's Peanut Butter Dairy Dip - 1st place Brooklyn Burnside, Cheesy Spinach & Bacon Dip - 2nd place Jorja Bessonett, Grape Delight - 3rd place
