It will be "All-American" Kids and the thirteen Hopkins County Dairy Festival Candidates "on parade" in the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center Auditorium, on Saturday night, as 50th Hopkins County Dairy Festival Queen, Katelyn Cody, crowns a new queen and the tribute to dairy farm families, enters a new era of history. Saturday night's 51st Annual Pageant will begin the second half-century of its production as it honors the hard working dairy farm families of Hopkins County and their vital contribution to our local economy. The pageant and coronation will conclude a week of activities that began last week with the arrival of the hot air balloons and name the young lady that will represent Hopkins County for the next year, as our official ambassador.

"We've certainly got some talented young ladies, this year," expressed Lynda Hager, longtime Hopkins County Dairy Festival Pageant Coordinator. "With thirteen talented candidates, five official out-of-town judges, and competitions in intervew, talent, and evening gown, it is anyone's crown to win! I'm almost certain that fractions of points will determine the winner, with that many variables!"

Be on hand, Saturday night, as the new queen is chosen and crowned!
