selected for their outstanding outfits depicting Red Ribbon Week.
It was a week of anti-drug education at Cumby Elementary School as students and teachers participated in the annual Red Ribbon Week Campaign. Students and teachers were encouraged to wear red on Friday and Mrs. Johnson's class won the prize for having 100% of the students wear red. And, teacher, Miss Kendra Dannheim was chosen for her outstanding ability to dress in red.

Miss Kendra Dannheim, left, was selected as the teacher who best dressed in
red for Red Ribbon Week.
"It was a great week for all of the students, as they learned much about the dangers of drug and alcohol use and learned about being responsible for their own actions," expressed Cumby Elementary Princial Shelly Slaughter. "It's a great time to make students aware of the consequences of drug use and to point-out the dangers involved in becoming addicted."

And, Mrs. Johnson's class, is shown with Cumby Police Chief, Scott Sewell, as they had 100%
of their class dress in red for "wear red day!"
