Traditional Senior Circle
Friday marked the annual Senior Pep Rally hosted at Cumby High School, where senior were honored and a series of special event took place. Members of the Cumby Trojan Football Team and the Lady Trojans Volleyball Team, entered the gym amidst a gauntlet of cheerleaders and elementary school children, before being seated in a special place. Then, the seniors were "pitted" against the faculty in a tug-o-war match-up, to see which group could pull the other across the line. THE FACULTY WON!
"It proved we've still got control over them!" exclaimed one of the faculty members. "It was a sense of pride to make certain we beat them!"

Following a series of cheers and the announcement that the Trojans would be traveling to Detroit on Friday night, and that the #2 State Ranked Lady Trojans would be meeting Price-Carlisle, in Hawkins, on Saturday night, the traditional Senior Circle was observed in the center of the Trojan Gym. Seniors joined hands, as their senior song was played, and everyone cheered on the Trojans and Lady Trojans to victory!

These elementary aged children mimicked the senior, as they dreamed of one day having their own
