Cumby High School Announces Top Grads
and Introduces Class of 2009

 

 

In an announcement by Cumby High School, Lindsay Lemon, daughter of David and Rhonda Lemon, of Cumby, has been named the Valedictorian of the 2009 Class. Lindsay has been a member of the BETA club, participated in UIL, Robotics, One Act Play, and was a member of the Alliance Bank Junior Advisory Committee. She was a four year member of the Lady Trojan volleyball, basketball, and softball teams and lettered in all sports. She plans to attend the University of Texas at Tyler with a desire for a career in pre-med.

Class salutatorian is Robert "Bobby" Anderson, the son of Robet and Peggy Anderson of Cumby. He's been a member of the BETA Club, NOSB, and participated in UIL. He was a member of the Trojan Football Team and served as manager of the Trojan Baseball Team. He plans to attend Tyler Junior College and major in kinesiology.
