Como-Pickton Eagles Continue to Fight
to The Finish in Match-up With
Red Raiders

Like in most places in Northeast Texas, it was a "muddy mess" in Winnsboro, as the Como-Pickton Eagles met-up with the Winnsboro Red Raiders. But, the Eagles persevered and continued to fight until the very end, as they scored a late fourth quarter touchdown and decreased the lead to twelve points. They were "knocking on the door" for another score, when the final clock ran down!

The Red Raiders of Winnsboro scored early in the game, but the Eagle Team continued to fight and never gave up, as they stuck to their game plan and executed plays to the last second on the clock. The final score was Como-Pickton 27, the Red Raiders 39.

Enjoy the following scenes from Friday night's action, "in the mud" at the game:

Como-Pickton Eagles' fans "shivered" in the stands, like fans all across Northeast Texas,
on Friday night, as temperatures "dipped" in the 40's.
