It was a night of fun and food for the Como-Pickton High School Class of 2010, as the Pickton United Methodist Church hosted a Mexican fiesta, in honor of their graduation, on Monday night. The evening began with a delicious meal, prepared for the seniors by members of the church and progressed as the youth were led in a number of "silly" games, that proved to be quite challenging and loads of fun!

"I haven't played games like this since kindergarten, and you forget that they're much easier, when you're a little bit 'lower to the ground'!" exclaimed one of the seniors.

Seniors played games of "juggling balloons," "passing the Lifesaver with a toothpick," "moving cotton balls with their noses," and "passing the potato," just to name a few, and of course, the more difficult they became, the more everyone was laughing at themselves and each other.

"It was a great, great night of fun and gave you the opportunity to forget about everything and act silly!" exclaimed another member of the class. "It's been a long, long time since most of us have just relaxed and forgot about ACT and SAT tests, jobs, semester exams, and all the many activities that come with graduation. It was fun to just be a kid again and have fun with the friends you've gone to school with all of your life!"

"We're planning to make this an annual event at Pickton United Methodist Church," related Rev. Henry Suche, Pastor of the Church. "Everyone seemed to have a great time and it will be an outreach of our church to the Como-Pickton Community!"
