Como-Pickton Student
Football Player Update

Reports from Children's Medical Center in Dallas has some good news for the condition of Como-Pickton Football Player, Marcos Gonzales, who was injured during the match-up with Quitman, last Thursday night.

Gonzales remains in the hospital, and continues to experience pain, but has been determined to have a severe shoulder injury and is receiving physical therapy for that injury, as well as continuing to be tested for other injuries. "He's still in a good amount of pain and is undergoing the therapy for some torn and pulled ligaments in his shoulder," reported a source from the school, who had visited with Gonzales on Wednesday night. "He is improving and is continuing to undergo a battery of tests to make certain there are no other injuries."

"The Como-Pickton student body and teachers are praying for Marcos and asking that he continues to improve and is able to soon return to school," continued the spokesman. "Marcos is a great kid and is sorely missed by his peers and family at Como-Pickton!"
