Como-Pickton Eagles Bring Home
42-7 Victory From Celeste
From Coach Paul Tullis
Jerry Radney talked to the team about perseverance before the game and stressed that we must be strong and courageous in all of our endeavors in life. The kids responded and played a really great game. The offense was moving the ball well with 5 explosive plays out of our 31 snaps. The defense was very physical and really ran to the ball well. Even Tellez played a superb game with 19 tackles and 2 blocked punts. On offense we had several standouts including Bryce Steele, Trevor Cagle and Matthew Sharp. Zack carpenter ran the offense well at quarterback completing 83% of his passes with 2 TD and no interceptions. We had a great game but we still have a lot to work on. The team has set a pretty high goal for itself and they are going to continue to work hard to attain it. I am very proud of all of the kids hard work and look for us to have a great season.

Bryce Steele: “ We played great in the game. It all started with our work in practice. The offensive line wiped them out all night, it made it easy for us run the ball .“
Even Tellez: “The team is growing and becoming unified we are a family. It was great to get to hit somebody else hard, finally.”

Zack carpenter: “we drove the ball well but we need to cut down on the penalties. We need to be able to keep our focus better so we can perform at the highest level.”
